These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any inquiry, acquisition, commission, or digital purchase arranged through COBALT ART · Somia Naveed. By using this site or contacting the studio, you agree to these terms.
The Artworks
Every original is a unique, handmade work. Colours, texture, and finish may differ slightly from how they appear on your screen, as no two displays are identical and photography cannot fully capture an original. Dimensions are approximate and measured unframed unless stated otherwise.
Pricing & Currency
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the site (currently US dollars) unless we agree otherwise in writing. Prices, availability, and details may change at any time, and a work is not reserved or guaranteed until the studio confirms your acquisition directly.
Inquiries & Acquisitions
Submitting an inquiry or acquisition request is not a binding order. It begins a conversation. A sale is formed only when the studio confirms availability, price, and terms with you in writing, and any agreed payment has been arranged.
Payment
No payment is taken through this website. Once an acquisition is confirmed, payment is arranged separately — for example by bank transfer or another secure method we agree with you. The studio will never ask you to enter card or bank details on this site.
Commissions
Commissioned works are created to a brief agreed with you and may require a deposit before work begins. Because each commission is bespoke, some natural variation is inherent and expected. Timelines are estimates and are confirmed for each project.
Digital Works
Digital works are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or use them commercially without the artist's written permission. Files are delivered after payment is confirmed.
Intellectual Property & Copyright
The artist retains full copyright and all reproduction rights in every work, including after a sale. Purchasing an original or a digital file does not transfer copyright or grant any right to reproduce, exhibit commercially, or create derivative works.
Title & Risk
Title to an original passes to you only once payment has been received in full. Risk passes on delivery. Shipping and delivery are described on our Shipping & Delivery page, and returns on our Refunds & Returns page.
Liability
This website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the studio's place of business. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without affecting any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here, with its effective date, is the one that applies to your use of the site.
